This section provides free study aids to support teachers who use the
QUARTET series.
To download these resources, you will need to sign up for a teacher’s user ID.
The teacher’s user ID provides access to material for instructors on the Japan Times Publishing’s
GENKI ONLINE and
QUARTET ONLINE websites, so if you have already been issued an ID for GENKI ONLINE, there is no need to request a new ID for QUARTET ONLINE. After logging in, go to the download page to access the resources.

This is a set of slides featuring text and audio for learning the example sentences of the Grammatical Patterns & Expressions commentary.

These are used by students to prepare outlines for the composition exercises of the Writing section.

4.QUARTET 2 Note taking activity materials
This is a listening comprehension expansion activity resource for helping students learn how to take lecture notes, summarize them, and review the content of lectures.

QUARTET 2.
QUARTET: Intermediate Japanese Across the Four Language Skills was developed to help learners seamlessly transition from the beginning level to intermediate studies. In addition to presenting vocabulary and kanji learned in
GENKI: An Integrated Course in Elementary Japanese, it includes various approaches for facilitating that transition, including a section for reviewing the elementary grammar points that are harder to master. QUARTET ONLINE will continue providing teachers with cross-level support so that they can more effectively help their students bridge the gap between beginning and intermediate Japanese.
